Race Committee

Each DSA Member being scored must register and serve on Race Committee two (2) days/evenings during any of the Series races of the season or during any scheduled DSA Regattas.

All races sailed prior to scheduling or meeting RC duty commitment will be recorded as NORC. Up to two (2) race day scores, four (4) races maximum, will be reinstated following completion of scheduling RC duties commitment. Failure to meet their RC duties on their schedule date will result in removal of all prior scores for that series.

Visit out Race Day Volunteer page for more information.

Post Race Potluck Dinner

Come on down to the DSA clubhouse after Thursday evening races for a delicious Post Race Potluck Dinner. A different DSA member volunteers each week to cook for the masses. Check out our Race Day Volunteer page to see the schedule and sign up to be a ‘Cook-of-the-Week’! Feel free to team up and split the load with other members.

The club house and its amenities will be opened:

  • Community Fridge – Take some drinks & leave some drinks at the clubhouse’s Community Fridge and we’ll keep it perpetually stocked with cold drinks everyone can enjoy!
  • Grill – The club’s propane grill will be open to heat up food.
  • Dinnerware – The club house is stocked with plates, bowls, cups, cutlery, and utensils.
  • Picnic Tables & Tent – There is plenty of space for everyone to hang out and socialize.

Come eat, drink, and enjoy our great community!
