To Join DSA by mailing in an application form with a check

Note that if you prefer, you can Join DSA through a transaction submitted on-line.  To do that, click here.  Otherwise, follow these directions:

1.  Click on this link to open a PDF file that displays the blank 2012 DSA Membership Form:

2.  Print the form.

3.  Mail it, along with your check, to the address shown at the bottom of the form.

4.  Look for a letter from DSA containing your 2012 membership ID card and Park Passes.

IF YOU ARE A NEW MEMBER –
A User ID and Password will be emailed to you at the email address you entered in the form — this will allow you to log in for the first time  to the  Members’ Area on the DSA website.   Once you are successfully logged in, please update your on-line member profile by clicking on the [Update Member Profile] button and updating your password and then populating the biographical info field with your background related to sailing.  To include your  photo,  simply set up a free account on gravatar.com using the same email address specified in  Contact Info in your  DSA profile.  Sign in to the gravatar account you just set up, and follow the steps to add a picture to your   gravatar account. The DSA site will automatically use that photo.

Note that the other optional fields available in the on-line member profile database are visible only to you, and are neither viewed nor used by DSA for membership administration, and should normally be left blank.

IF YOU ARE A RETURNING MEMBER –
Use your existing User ID and Password to log in to the Members’ Area and then click on the  [Update Member Profile] button to  update your profile for 2012.
