I have been sailing for ten years, and consider myself at an intermediate level. i enjoy
racing, and enjoy learning more about how to get the best boat speed. i crewed on the saturday lake
dillon races for several years on an ensign 20, and for several years in the wednesday evening races on
chatfield on a capri 22. i also crewed on a 72 footer on a transatlantic from england to boston - and
we won! i generally prefer keelboats; position-wise i enjoy handling main & jib sheets, though not the
spinnaker. i am a professional photographer and video producer, and am happy to take photos and/or video
during races when asked by the skipper.

I'm new to the area and a sailor of 25+ years. I previously directed the
Duluth Community Sailing Association and sailed with the Duluth Yacht Club and
owned a J24. I would love to find a ride on a crew for racing this spring
summer. I can perform any position on the boat but I like the pointy end. I'm
athletic and a tech geek. I've sailed lasers, sunfish, a variety of dinghies,
San Juan 24, Ultimate 24, J22, J24, J35, 420, 470, Soling, and a 75' Schooner
and more so I'll ride/crew comfortably anywhere. |

I have been sailing J-22s with the Why-Buy fleet for the past three seasons. I have ASA certifications for Basic Keelboat Sailing, Basic Coastal Cruising and Bareboat Chartering. I have also completed the course work for Coastal Navigation but not yet taken the test.
I have very little racing experience but am anxious to learn, learn quickly and have a good understanding
of sail theory. |

Grew up racing Jet-14s, a cross between a Snipe and an International 14 -
one design, two man, spinnaker, no trapeze. Came in 2nd in the Nationals as
a crew and won the Junior Nationals. Unfortunately that was all over 16
years ago (34 now). I've done some recreational sailing here and there but
hadn't done any racing until recently when I crewed for Jim Daus in his
Bucc, Quack, at the 2004 Frostbite/Governor's Cup.

Most of my racing experience was during and a bit after college (UW Madison Sailing Team '87-'91). I've raced dinghies like Lasers, 470's, 420's, FJ's; as well as keelboats--J-22's, Santa Cruz 27 & 50, Catalina 24 and scows--M-20's, E, and C. I've done a lot of foredeck (though I'm a bit rusty) as well as trimming main, jib, and spinnaker. I like sailing smaller keelboats like J-22's as well as scows or dinghies. Having a good time is my top priority next to going fast.

I've done a lot of dinghy/small boat sailing in college (I'm 35 now), and crewed on a J-24 for races on Lake Michigan for a summer. Interested in doing whatever's needed to help win.

I have been sailing for the last 15 years. Up until last fall, I raced on an Olson 30 team and have also sailed on J-24's, Cat 22's J-29's, J-80's. I have done foredeck (but don't prefer it), trimming and running the spinnaker. I have participated in large Racing Events - Key West Race Week, several NOOD regattas, North American Rally to the Caribbean - and have done extensive offshore sailing and cruising. I prefer sailing keelboats and would like to find a crew to sail with on a regular basis. I want to get involved in the sailing club and help with activities and race committee. |

I've raced all my life from Cal 25s to SC70s. Have raced to Hawaii, Mexico and in Australia, and at least 15 Big Boat Series in SF. I've owned IOR tubs to ULDB sleds. Now land-locked. Able and willing to do any position. Am aggressive yet want to laugh. (spinnaker boats only please) FAST IS FUN!

Want to Crew for Dinghy's - I am an avid sailor from Stuart, Florida. I have 6 years of crew experience racing 420's and am looking to getting back into sailing. In my sailing career, my skipper and I had the most number of wins for our sailing team including winning the Junior Olympic festival in Stuart and going to the Oyster Bay sailing clinic in Long Island, NY. I'd like to crew and race on boats that would be similar to the 420. I can't wait to get back on the water

I have been racing for over 20 years in Illinois, Michigan, California, and Wisconsin primarily in sunfish, lasers, thistles, snipes, jy-15’s, 420’s, and j30’s. I also taught junior sailing for over 7 years in Illinois and California and am class 1 level instructor. I just moved out here and really miss the sailing and would love an opportunity to get back into it.
As a crew you can cuss and yell all you want it won’t bother me!!

I just started sailing last summer and have the basic keelboat certification. I absolutely love to sail and want to learn more about it. Never raced before. Basically looking to have fun while learning from more experienced sailors.

From California where i have been an ocean lifeguard for the last 16 years. I have no experience racing, but am looking forward to learning from somone willing to put in the time. Kinda of like molding someone to suit your needs. I am very athletic and learn extremely fast and am very competitive and will do what it takes to win. My experience on sailboats is more of day sailing with friends in California and with my father in law in Texas. I own my own 15 ft. mutineer and would like to race it one day down the road.

Dying to sail, although I am a beginner. I grew up sailing on the Long Island Sound, but have not learned how to sail thoroughly. Just love to be on the water!

I have sailing experience around Cape Cod, San Francisco Bay, Florida and have
made an offshore passage from Florida to the US Virgin Islands as part of a US
Sailing Class. I have certification in Celestial Navigation and the other basic
sailing classes. I was a physical oceanographer for 10 years and have logged
many hours in oceanographic vessels on the continental shelf and mid ocean. I
have no racing experience but would like to learn and improve my sailing skills
by crewing on some inland or offshore racing vessels. |

I spent every weekend and three straight weeks every summer until I was 16
sailing across and around Lake Ontario. Sporadic since then. Plenty of rough
seas and foul weather experience. Some racing experience. 39 years old now.
Looking to pick up where I left off and get certification which will allow me to
captain a boat in a country that requires a passport. My business allows me to
be fairly flexible with time off. Willing to crew for day sailing, racing or
even boat transport wherever needed. Three years chef experience, so on-board
chef position also desirable if I'm not currently in the middle of a
project.

Just moved back to Colorado after living in San Francisco for 4 years. I would like to check out the Denver sailing scene (racing, serious or casual) and am open to pretty much anything to see what it is all about around here. Usually not available tuesday or wednesday nights, but weekends and other weekday evenings are good. Experience: 3 years of year round sailing (racing and day sailing) on SF Bay and few short trips to other venues. (Gorge, great lakes, etc) ASA certified through Bareboat. Previous SC27 owner, primarily healmsman but very competant at any position- main trim, jib/spin, etc (except foredeck, but would be willing to give it a shot). Crewed on 1D35s on several occasions including a couple Rolex Big Boat Series as pit, spin/jib trim, tail/foreguy. Anyway I've got a good amount of keelboat experience and just looking to get out and have fun. Never been on a dinghy, but would like to learn that too if there is an opportunity. Would like to get into Laser racing eventually so if anyone is interested in helping me on my way and can help me get on a boat a couple times before I buy my own that would be great.

I have been racing/crewing on Cherry Creek since 2001. Live close to the lake and don't mind being called at the last minute.
