DSA's LocationWithout a fixed facility, DSA is free to conduct events wherever sailing (including iceboating) can be done. But, most sailing events are held at Cherry Creek Reservoir in Cherry Creek State Park, in the southeast Metro Denver area. ( See the map.) The operations base for most events is the marina on the west side of the lake. On Wednesday nights, keel boats will be rigging up at their slips or launching on the hoist. On Thursday nights, dinghies will be rigging in the storage lot or launching off the beach. the race committee boat will leave its slip near the Marina office about 30 minutes before racing starts.
