DSA Membership Terms & Liability Waiver

I hereby release the Denver Sailing Association, Inc., its officers, membership, members, and race committees from any and all liability, which may result from my participation in Denver Sailing Association events and activities. I agree to be bound by The Racing Rules of Sailing and by all other rules that govern these events. I also understand by signing this document electronically I am bound to the same rules and regulations as if it were a handwritten signature.

The purpose of the Denver Sailing Association, Inc. is to provide sailing activities for both fleet and one-of-a-kind (OOAK) sailors with a relatively open membership and a financial structure characterized by low yearly dues, financially self-supporting activities, a stable bank account, and the absence of an initiation fee.

A flag membership is a dues paying membership in good standing which shall include as flag members individuals, up to two adults, and children under the age of 18 living in the same household. All persons within the membership as described above shall be considered flag members. Each flag membership in good standing shall have the right to participate in Club activities and to hold office and the right to one vote. Should more than one individual flag member within a membership wish to cast an additional and separate vote, they may do so by paying flag membership dues and establishing an additional flag membership.
