The Club

Denver Sailing Association (DSA) is a competitive sailing organization located at Cherry Creek Reservoir in Denver, Colorado, USA. Cherry Creek provides a great location for racing just minutes from downtown Denver, with convenient access from major highways I-25 and I-225.

The club has an extensive racing program from April through October including four complete series and annual regattas bringing some of the best talent in the state. The four series are Thawout, Spring, Summer, and Frostbite. The Thawout and Frostbite Series race on weekend afternoons while the Spring and Summer Series are on weekday evenings.

DSA has active one-design fleets including Santana 20s, J22s, Lasers, Melges 15s as well as PHRF and Portsmouth classes.

On the miniature side, DSA hosts a group of DragonFlite 95 radio controlled sailboats. This group meets up a few times throughout the season to race by the DSA clubhouse in the Cherry Creek Marina.

Our partner organization Community Sailing of Colorado (CSC) is home to the youth racing team as well as the instructional sailing programs.

We have memberships levels for boat owners looking to race, those who want to crew, social members, and junior sailors. For more information, visit our Membership page.

Learn more about sailing with DSA on our Frequently Asked Questions page.

If you are interested in getting involved with Denver Sailing Association and our racing programs, contact us. We welcome all new members and encourage those of you interested in racing to come on down to the docks and get involved!

DSA is a member of both US Sailing and Sailing Association of Inter-mountain Lakes (SAIL).

The Denver Sailing Association is located at Cherry Creek Marina inside Cherry Creek State Park.
